MIG/Structural Welder $21-$23 Depending on experience and welding test results. Position Summary: Our customer is seeking a dedicated and skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication division. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of metal components used in industrial construction projects. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to determine project requirements. Prepare and fit metal components for welding, ensuring accuracy and quality. Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, adjusting settings for optimal performance. Perform MIG welding on steel and alloy components, maintaining high standards of workmanship. Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with company and industry standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area to uphold Alfred Miller Companies commitment to safety and organization. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings and training. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and fellow team members to meet project goals and deadlines. Assist in mentoring less experienced welders, promoting a culture of learning and excellence. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification in welding preferred. Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience in an industrial or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong knowledge of MIG welding processes, equipment, and safety standards. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed. 9894532
