WSG Energy Services is currently looking for a Master Electrician (ND, SD, MN) with Industrial experience to join our team. People with Foreman or Supervisory experience are preferred, but not necessary. This person will need to be able to organize workload on jobsites with employees. This person must have basic knowledge of Windows Office; Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of Procore is an asset. Active participation and implementing our safety program is essential.
Job settings will be remote Industrial
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Leading 1-4 people on the jobsite
Understanding legal roles and responsibilities, taking training locally
Understand and complete all safety paperwork for daily tasks.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox meetings and ensure training certificates (including client orientation) are kept up to date with the safety department
Working with Project Managers and Site Foreman to make a construction schedule and material list
Read and understand prints and schematics
Complete daily reports with accurate descriptions of work and material used
Understand and complete QAQC documents
Red-Line prints for an As-Built set for customer
Must be responsible for materials, tools, and appropriate paperwork.
Can work and coordinate with other trades, general contractors, owners, and engineers.
Must always work safely and comply with state, company and site-specific safety rules and regulations.
Ideal candidates will posses the following:
Master Electrician license in North Dakota or reciprocal states (SD, MN)
Experience with industrial installations
o Cable tray
o Tray Cable
o Transformer placement & connection
o Grounding & Bonding
o Control and Communication systems including fiber optical systems
o High voltage installations and termination up to 69kV
Must be self-motivated and can motivate others to maintain schedules and production
Must be able to plan work and take directions
Posses good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work well with others
Advanced computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Project tasks include but are not limited to: working outdoors in all weather elements, physical labour, underground installations (trenching), pulling/strapping cable, cable terminations, installation of cable trays, motor control centres, PLC terminations, HV/LV terminations and control work
