Container Shop Welder

Kieffer Sanitation , a proud member of the Waste Connections family, is seeking a full-time Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Rapid City, South Dakota . • Hourly Pay: $20 $30 (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
• Hours: 4050 hours/week

• Weld and repair trash containers, compactors, and metal components on trash trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Document parts usage and repair times accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate repair needs clearly.
  

• Physically demanding role with frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of items over 50 lbs.
• Exposure to mechanical parts and outdoor elementssafety precautions are essential.
• Work may be performed indoors in a shop or outdoors in the yard.
• Occasional work in tight or awkward spaces using greasy or dirty tools.
  

• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years welding/fabrication experience preferred.
