Laborer-Sports Fields

The Orem Public Works Department is currently hiring for part-time and seasonal Laborers. These are non-benefited positions responsible for performing a variety of manual duties related to park maintenance. This is a grounds position working in Orem's sports field crew. Uses a variety of tools and equipment relating to park and sports field maintenance.Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have a good driving record. Due to equipment and city vehicle operation, applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to perform manual labor outside during spring, summer, and fall months. The successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation.$14.28 to $21.42 per hour depending upon experience, qualifications, and type of work performed.Seasonal and Flexible positions available. Seasonal positions will work up to 40 hours per week and will last up to 6 months from date of hire.
