What You'll Do Direct, coordinate, and implement all plant marketing activitiesLead marketing personnel in a professional manner towards achieving performance goalsEstablish marketing goals, both financial and non-financialDevelop new business; source leads and referralsCollaborate with Plant Manager to ensure accomplishment of plant and regional goalsMaintain accurate records of buying/sourcing and prospecting activitiesEnsure adherence to CMC Guiding Principles, Culture, Code of Conduct, and company policiesWhat You'll Need 6-8 years in a metal recycling facility or other related industrySuccessful track record of generating new businessPrior experience with pricing & proposal models with the ability to "hedge" pricingBroad knowledge of marketing /sales practicesStrong negotiation skillsAbility to manage and lead a teamMust be able to buy material at a margin and profit to support the plant's marketing goalsMust be able to put team goals ahead of individual goalsYour Education Bachelor's degree preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
