Refrigeration Technician

This is your opportunity to become a Refrigeration Technician based near Milford, CT, with travel across the Tri-State Area (CT, NY, NJ). Qualifications and responsibilities for this Refrigeration Technician position include: 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial refrigeration; ammonia refrigeration experience is a strong plus EPA Certification required; D-2 (Journeyman HVAC-R) license or completed schooling necessary to obtain license Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass background check and drug screening Perform service, maintenance, and installation of industrial refrigeration systems including rack systems, roof compressors, chillers, and central systems Must be comfortable working in industrial environments like food processing and cold storage (no residential work) Willingness to travel within the Tri-State area; occasional overnight stays with paid hotel and meal allowance Participate in rotating on-call schedule (once per month, $200 stipend plus straight-time pay if called out) Ability to work independently from home with a company-provided vehicle Salary: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
