Job Title: Welder
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The Welder will follow blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds on a variety of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
Set up components for welding according to specifications.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as MIG.
Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with specifications.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
Maintain safety standards and follow company procedures and OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with other fabricators, machinists, and team members to ensure timely production.
Complete required documentation and quality control records.
Identify and resolve welding defects such as cracks, porosity, or undercutting.
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing shop floor environment.
May involve extended hours or shift work depending on production needs.
Exposure to welding fumes, bright light, and loud noise (PPE provided).
