The Low Voltage Division Manager will lead a specialized construction division focused on low-voltage systems, including security, access control, surveillance, telecommunications, and monitoring services. This role requires managing both projects and personnel while driving performance and customer satisfaction that is aligned with the company's broader organizational plans, this role will play a key part in expanding the division's capabilities, market presence, and service offerings. The Manager will spearhead initiatives that foster innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term growth. Essential Job Functions Manage all phases of low voltage projects for telecom, access control, surveillance and security from design to final installation keeping them on schedule and within budget. Create detailed project scopes, timelines, and budgets tailored specifically to each project. Work closely with MEI Project Managers and other MEI Division Managers to review project related scope, create and manage submittals, shop drawings and discuss project means and methods. Coordinate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners as required throughout project life cycles. Manage Divion Foreman and service technicians Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a positive team culture Manage the network, programing and updating monitoring services, and low voltage systems. Evaluate Low voltage systems functionality, programing and troubleshoot as needed Ensure secure protocols are implemented across job sites Stay current with low voltage systems technologies and recommend upgrades Maintain and grow the portfolio of monitoring accounts Supervise dispatch and respond to service calls for timely resolution Analyze service metrics and implement process improvements Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed Plan, schedule and manage DTS personnel job assignments and locations based on project needs, customer needs and company needs by creating and maintaining proper resource forecasting. Participate in Financial and Labor performance monthly meetings. Create and implement Standard Operating procedures for process improvements that will be submitted to the Director of Operations and President for review and approval. Position Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee low-voltage installations across multiple active job sites Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards Review blueprints, specs, and site plans to integrate low-voltage systems seamlessly into construction workflow Supervise the installation and configuration of security systems, access control, telecom infrastructure, CCTV, and monitoring technologies Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and technical standards (NEC, NFPA, ANSI/TIA) Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues across systems Hire, train, and manage low-voltage technicians, and project leads Provide ongoing technical training and promote industry's best practices Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, and performance Serve as primary liaison for clients, architects, vendors, and internal teams Conduct site walks, client meetings, and project reviews to ensure service excellence Prepare and deliver technical presentations and project updates for stakeholders Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and enter new markets Collaborate with executive leadership to align division objectives with company goals Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative solutions and technologies Manage division-level budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services Optimize resource allocation to support project demands and division scalability Maintain accurate project documentation, certifications, and service records Ensure adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols across all job sites Prepare inspection reports and facilitate audits when required Achieve customer satisfaction by demonstrating professionalism, customer focus, care, and support. Essential Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years' field experience in low voltage systems 2 -3 years of proven project management and leadership skills Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, and low voltage building codes Excellent communication, budgeting, and organizational skills Required/Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, BICSI, RCDD, and manufacturer-specific credentials) Familiarity with Bosch, Genetec, Avigilon, Honeywell, Axis, Hanwha, AiPhone, Ubiquiti and monitoring services Strong sales and estimating experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience Positive working attitude Strong Team building and leadership skills
