MAJOR DUTIES:
Employee loads and unloads supplies and merials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. helps erect scaffolding, planking and ladders assists in hauling merials, supplies and equipment from job site areas using hand trucks, wheelbarrows, and dollies.
Digs ditches and trenches with pick and shovel, paints metal and wood fences, mixes and pours concrete or cement, stacks lumber, timbers, bricks, etc., moves sacks or boxes of cement, sand, ice melt, hardware, nails, etc. or performs other duties requiring similar physical effort.
Individual performs custodial/janitorial duties for public and non-public buildings in the absence of custodian/janitor and as backup support.
Cleans and picks up trash and debris from grounds and work areas routinely, empties trash cans into central dumpsters.
Position will require the employee to assist higher skilled Maintenance Workers WG4749-5/7/9 in areas such as carpentry, custodial, and grounds maintenance.
Additionally, this position on a regular and recurring basis operes light duty motor vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds (such as pick-up trucks, panel trucks, flbed trucks, etc) to transport personnel, merial, or equipment to work sites. The parenthetical (Motor Vehicle Opering) is therefore appropriely added to the title.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Performed the most difficult and complex laborer tasks including ability to opere trucks and trailers weighing up to one ton; properly loading and unloading various supplies and equipment; to perform work providing laboring assistance to others in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, and trails; opere power equipment such as lawnmowers, snow blowers, and string trimmers; and safely use a variety of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, saws, pulaskis, rock bars, etc. Able to safely opere these vehicles/equipment in all types of traffic and weher conditions. I utilize most hand and power tools associed with these tasks including light hand and power and cleaning custodial tools, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and leaf blowers . I have experience performing operor maintenance on all vehicles/equipment opered (e.g. monitoring fluid levels, checking tire pressure and blade replacement/sharpening). I perform these duties as an expert with a high degree of independence. My supervisor assigned work orally, through work orders, or with written specificions. My work was checked to see th it met compliance with work and safety standards and policies., through work orders, or with written specificions. Indoor work is often accomplished in office buildings or in well-lighted, heed, and ventiled areas such as warehouses, loading docks, or trade shops. MAJOR DUTIES:
Employee loads and unloads supplies and merials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. helps erect scaffolding, planking and ladders assists in hauling merials, supplies and equipment from job site areas using hand trucks, wheelbarrows, and dollies.
Digs ditches and trenches with pick and shovel, paints metal and wood fences, mixes and pours concrete or cement, stacks lumber, timbers, bricks, etc., moves sacks or boxes of cement, sand, ice melt, hardware, nails, etc. or performs other duties requiring similar physical effort.
Individual performs custodial/janitorial duties for public and non-public buildings in the absence of custodian/janitor and as backup support.
Cleans and picks up trash and debris from grounds and work areas routinely, empties trash cans into central dumpsters.
Position will require the employee to assist higher skilled Maintenance Workers WG4749-5/7/9 in areas such as carpentry, custodial, and grounds maintenance.
Additionally, this position on a regular and recurring basis operes light duty motor vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds (such as pick-up trucks, panel trucks, flbed trucks, etc) to transport personnel, merial, or equipment to work sites. The parenthetical (Motor Vehicle Opering) is therefore appropriely added to the title.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Performed the most difficult and complex laborer tasks including ability to opere trucks and trailers weighing up to one ton; properly loading and unloading various supplies and equipment; to perform work providing laboring assistance to others in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, and trails; opere power equipment such as lawnmowers, snow blowers, and string trimmers; and safely use a variety of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, saws, pulaskis, rock bars, etc. Able to safely opere these vehicles/equipment in all types of traffic and weher conditions. I utilize most hand and power tools associed with these tasks including light hand and power and cleaning custodial tools, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and leaf blowers . I have experience performing operor maintenance on all vehicles/equipment opered (e.g. monitoring fluid levels, checking tire pressure and blade replacement/sharpening). I perform these duties as an expert with a high degree of independence. My supervisor assigned work orally, through work orders, or with written specificions.
