Server Management Services LLC has an opening for the position of Infrastructure Engineer (Ref# IA718NS).

Work Location: Irving, TX and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Responsible for installation, configuration, deployment, administration, maintenance, upgrades, backup, and troubleshooting of systems infrastructure. Install, configure, administer, apply fixes/upgrades, and operation and maintenance of IBM WebSphere stack of products on Linux servers in development, testing, staging, and production environments. Build and manage large scale support of high availability multi-node environments on AIX and Linux including setup and configuration of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment. In addition to WebSphere middleware technologies, work on installing, configuring, monitoring, and administrating AWS cloud, MQ, and Jenkins. Work as subject-matter expert (SME) for overall delivery and support process across multiple initiatives/projects which include implementation, troubleshooting, automation, support activities, security vulnerability remediations, and documentation. Build AWS infrastructure (networking, provisioning, storage, etc.) and implement deployment processes and CI/CD. Work on designing and building DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD environments in AWS. Install IBM MQ software versions and configure MQ resources. Create templates for application YAML files to generate them dynamically for environment builds. Automate installation and configuration of IBM middleware products. Analyze and troubleshoot middleware platform issues with infrastructure during different stages of the application release cycle. Provide production environment and infrastructure support for the project. Use of IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, IBM DataPower, Tomcat, Introscope, Java/J2EE, XML, AIX, UNIX, Linux, and Windows.

Requirements: This position requires a Masters degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience with WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, AIX, and Linux. 40hrs/week.
