Electrical Engineer Senior

An Electrical Engineer Senior is needed for a company that manufactures and sells marking, tracking and computer printing technologies in the Holtsville, NY area. A senior electrical engineer responsible for leading and architecting complex, high-volume mobile computing hardware projects, combining hands-on testing, technical innovation, and cross-functional leadership.

responsibilities:

• Leads or contributes to complex electrical design projects, ensuring correct features are incorporated early.
  
  
• Responsible for architecting, designing, and executing all phases of projects.
  
  
• Performs hands-on testing and bench work, particularly with mobile computing devices.
  
  
• Develops and implements technical and quality improvements for hardware systems.
  
  
• Innovates with new technologies, methods, and tools, ensuring documentation for hardware teams.
  
  
• Acts as a technical leader across multiple engineering disciplines and program management.
  
  
• Defines and possibly designs complex analytical tools to solve advanced engineering problems.

Skills:

• Drives cross-functional collaboration with other engineering teams and stakeholders.
  
  
• Makes independent decisions within broadly defined policies and practices.
  
  
• May coordinate or lead other personnel on engineering activities.
  
  
• Interfaces with management and senior-level customer representatives.
  
  
• Represents the organization as the primary customer contact and may serve in a project leadership role.

Experience: 10+ years of experience, especially in high-volume product development.
