As a FSC Superintendent at Worley, you will lead the strategic delivery and oversight of complex construction projects that contribute to our ambition of delivering sustainable change. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project execution, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, contractual commitments, and Worleys sustainability-driven priorities. This role plays a key part in bridging the current global resource demands with the transition toward more sustainable energy and chemical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for the planning, execution, and delivery of specialized or high-impact construction projects.

  • Translate Worleys sustainability vision into actionable project frameworks that deliver measurable value for our partners and stakeholders.

  • Establish project goals, define delivery strategies, and oversee the successful implementation of those plans in line with customer and contractual requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop integrated, data-centric solutions that address complex project challenges across the asset lifecycle.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, safety standards, and environmental objectives throughout all phases of construction.

  • Lead and mentor diverse project teams, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing work environment that supports professional development and knowledge sharing.

  • Prepare and present project reports, strategic recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership and customer executives.

  • Contribute to the evolution and improvement of Worleys systems, tools, and processes, particularly those supporting our sustainability transformation.

  • Manage budget performance, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and with maximum value.

  • Shape policy and decision-making within project teams, including staffing, training, and organizational structure planning.

  • Qualifications / Skillset

    • A university degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience is also considered.

    • Significant industry experience in project and construction management, typically developed through a progressive career of over a decade in leadership roles.

    • Proven ability to deliver large-scale or high-impact projects within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.

    • Strong understanding of sustainability principles and experience integrating them into practical project execution.

    • Demonstrated skill in strategic planning, problem-solving, and the implementation of change initiatives across multi-stakeholder environments.

    • Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities, with a participative management style and collaborative approach.

    • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard project management systems, tools, and construction methodologies.

    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally, including the development and presentation of complex technical and strategic materials.

    • Sound judgment and decision-making capability, particularly in areas requiring innovation, cross-functional coordination, and risk assessment.
