Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafting and Engineering Documentation Specialist to support the reconciliation and updating of GMP drawing sets with EAM Room numbers and descriptions. The role involves supporting the remediation of Engineering Change Management gaps and updating engineering drawings. This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality compliance and improving processes within the biomanufacturing facilities. Responsibilities
- Reconcile GMP drawing sets with EAM Room numbers and descriptions, updating drawings as necessary.
- Support quality compliance of validated systems such as INFOR EAM and Engineering Documentation Management System (EDMS).
- Resolve findings from Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) infrastructure and utilities assessments.
- Review mechanical and manufacturing documentation and drawings to identify gaps.
- Create action plans for completing documentation tasks.
- Complete and update engineering drawings and schematics.
- Ensure all documents meet quality and regulatory requirements.
- Track and report the number of documents updated and changed.
- Identify additional areas for improvement in documentation processes.
- Implement process improvements and documentation for assets and procedures.
- Update processes and documents for maintenance, facilities, and engineering related to biomanufacturing.
- Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a facilities or architectural drafting role.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and construction terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Revit, BIM, or other CAD software is a plus.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
