Journeyman:
Starting pay ranging from $34 to $40 per hour, with an additional 8% shift premium applied for 2nd shift or a 6% shift premium for 3rd shift.

Summary:
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure continuous production, execute regular preventive maintenance plan (TPM) and modify equipment as needed. This position is focused on PLC controls-related work and will be involved with mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical or electrical work to troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity.
- Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues.
- Track and document repairs.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a safe work environment .
- Monitor data from measuring devices.
- Work in a clean room and climate-controlled environment.
- Complete additional projects as assigned (e.g., wiring new sensors, gathering materials, sizing wire).
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and assembling large and small part assemblies and components.
- Fill in for other technicians as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container.
- Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOPs during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience. - Journeyman license preferred.
Experience:
- Pneumatic and hydraulics experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
