JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team, at a company that has been around the building materials industry for over 20 years and is still growing!

Well established in the industry we provide high quality parts to contractors, home builders, installers, and do it yourself homeowners for custom work to everyday parts and projects.

The Welder in this role fabricates a variety of structures from basic skeleton metal structures that are skinned with sheet metal to custom railings, fencing and staircases. Our projects are specific and one of a kind to our clients, we consistently deliver flawless high-end products.

Job Type: Full Time, On-site Responsibilities for the Welder:

• Fabricate one of a kind ornamental projects based on Architects and Designers vision

• Takeoffs of blueprints to weld, cut, grind and fit metal parts mirroring architectural drawings

• Utilizing various welding techniques (Solder, MIG and TIG) to fuse together parts to ensure the geometry stays true to design

• Extensive welding knowledge is crucial to keep project true to the blueprint specs

• Detailing, grinding, and sanding project ready for coating process (powder coat or paint) Requirements of the Welder:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience fabricating and welding high end custom projects

• MIG & TIG Welding experience with Aluminum & Steel Required

• Experienced with Steel and Aluminum fencing, staircases, and railings preferred

• Certified Welder preferred • Industrial mathematics and basic geometry

• Highly proficient in reading layouts and blueprints

• Can perform heavy lifting on a regular basis

• Craftsman that is detail oriented • High school diploma/GED
