Our client, a commercial construction company, is hiring a Senior Manager of Preconstruction (Healthcare) in Nashville, TN (Brentwood). This role will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept through construction, including preconstruction planning, design coordination, and construction execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead preconstruction efforts, including bids, proposals, and budgets
+ Prepare and present detailed estimates and proposals
+ Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analyses, and conceptual budgeting
+ Collaborate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders
+ Identify project risks and align plans with business goals
+ Use construction estimating tools and adopt Lean practices to improve workflow
**Qualifications:**
+ 10+ years of preconstruction or estimating experience
+ Experience in healthcare/hospital construction space
+ Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, estimating software, and field operations
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Revit, Lens, or Destiny preferred
+ Understanding of MBE/WBE/SBA requirements
+ Must have valid drivers license and be able to travel as needed
**Our Client Offers:**
+ Base salary in the 150k-200k range
