Heavy Construction Crane Operator

Summary:

Operates construction cranes to lift and move materials, machines or products on heavy and civil construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate mechanical boom and cable, friction cranes or hydraulic and cable equipment to lift and move materials, machines or products on heavy and civil construction projects.
• May operate heavy and light Commercial Construction equipment, such as Excavators, Backhoes, Track Hoes, Bull Dozers, Front-end Loaders, Scrapers, Skid Steers, Vibratory Compactors, Forklifts and Motor Graders to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures, dig trenches, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement as needed and certified.
• May operate Caisson/Foundation Drill Rig as needed and certified.
• Clean, secure and maintain all equipment as directed by Federal and State Law.
• Adhere to all Company Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Support and secure equipment and machines such as cranes and other heavy equipment onto heavy trailers for movement to and from jobsites or equipment/maintenance yards.

Minimum Skills and Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years' operating heavy construction equipment experience required.
• Nationally Recognized Certification for Crane Operations required.
• SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: OSHA 30-no more than 4 years old.
• Rigging & Signaling -no more than 4 years old

Travel Requirements

• 100% In-state and out-of-state travel required
