We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Scheduler with strong experience in industrial projects and Primavera P6 to join our project team. This role is critical for ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective scheduling of all construction activities on large-scale industrial projects such as manufacturing plants, refineries, power plants, or heavy infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into a master schedule.
  • Analyze and report on schedule progress, variances, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather schedule data and align timelines.
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Perform "what-if" and risk analysis scenarios to assess potential project impacts.
  • Monitor critical path activities and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
  • Prepare and present regular schedule updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support change order and delay analysis efforts and participate in claims resolution, if needed.
  • Maintain scheduling documentation in compliance with company and client standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a construction scheduler, with a focus on industrial or heavy civil projects.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools (Microsoft Project is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project controls, and critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM), cost-loading, and resource leveling.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, change management, and delay claim analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project delivery methods.
  • Certifications such as PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) or PMI-SP.
  • Familiarity with construction management platforms such as Oracle Aconex, Procore, or similar.
