Metal Fabricator Aerotek is hiring now for a Metal Fabricator in the Ocala, FL Area. This individual will be responsible for building handrails in a manufacturing/shop environment. This is a long term position with weekly pay, 401k, and medical benefits. We are looking to interview and start work ASAP. Job Overview: Job title: Fabricator Location: Ocala, FL Shift: 4:00am-2:30pm (overtime available) Pay: $19-$22/hr (based on skills/experience) Manufacturing and fab shop environment (non-climate controlled). Responsible for assembling various railings, hardware, ladders, stairs, floor hatches, baffles, and other hardware. Responsible for the lay out, cutting, bending, fitting, and tack welding of metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and tape measure. Qualifications: Fabrication experience is required. Experience operating metal fabrication equipment including press brakes, roller, shears, and other cutting and bending equipment. Ability to read blueprints and tape measure. Experience performing tack welding. Experience using hand/power tools. Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments.
