High Voltage Electrician

We are hiring a Journeyman or C-10 Licensed Electrician to support substation maintenance and high voltage operations at a secure industrial facility. This role involves rotating coverage with a lead electrician and requires strong technical and safety expertise.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high voltage systems (up to 115kV)

Operate and maintain substation equipment including switchgear, relays, and transformers

Execute safe switching procedures and LOTO protocols

Interpret electrical schematics and update documentation

Collaborate with engineers and safety personnel to ensure code compliance

Salary Range: $40hr - $50hr

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work

Valid California Journeyman Certification or C-10 License (preferred)

Experience with substation systems and high voltage distribution

Proficient in NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA standards

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills null
