Job Description
What you will be doing:
Work on large Senior Living/ILF/ALF, Healthcare & Multifamily High-rise projects, both new construction and renovation.
Manage assigned projects, ensuring total quality of all engineering efforts and satisfactory performance of the engineering team.
Meet client expectations and produce profit on projects.
Ensure complete performance of the team assigned to each project according to design standards, practices, and policies.
Lead or self-direct site visits to evaluate various facility types during assessments of existing electrical infrastructure.
Participate actively in project meetings during design and construction activities.
Prepare graphic and written construction documents.
Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida - Required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in an AE environment in Electrical Design.
Experience in power systems design, low voltage design, and lighting design including load calculations, system sizing, and code compliance.
Proven track record of designing appropriate electrical systems within client budgets and time limitations.
Experience in outlet, data, and telephone layout design.
Strong communication skills to provide high-quality, well-coordinated, and technically proficient electrical engineering design solutions.
Experience in Commercial, Senior Living/ILF/ALF, and High-rise; New Construction and Renovation.
Knowledge of Autodesk - AutoCAD 2020, Autodesk Revit 2020, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
