Travel Note: This role is responsible for overseeing the setup and installation of a temporary remote workspace. The initial project is expected to span approximately 6-8 weeks, after which team members may be transitioned to subsequent projects in new locations, performing similar duties. Candidate Profile: We are seeking individuals who are flexible and open to traveling between job sites for the duration of the assignment. Candidates do not need to be based in Texas, as travel expenses will be fully covered by the client. Description: The Onsite Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of coordinating construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role will be responsible for overseeing the installation of a temporary remote office space of roughly 1,000,000 sq/ft. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all onsite activities of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Team Leadership: Manage and lead construction teams, including subcontractors, to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications. Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including daily and weekly timelines, to ensure timely project completion. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and provide regular financial updates to senior management. Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds company quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards on site, ensuring that all team members follow OSHA and company safety protocols. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction promptly and effectively. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). 12+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager. Proven experience in managing residential/commercial/industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices. Proficient in project management software (e.g., P6, Microsoft Project, Procore). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. OSHA certification or similar safety credentials (preferred).
