Assistant Superintendent

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the course is in top condition. You will be responsible for reporting back daily and informing him of any issues. Other responsibilities will include overseeing and participating in daily maintenance tasks, supervising grounds crew workers to ensure quality work. In addition, you will help with project managing, budgeting, staff training, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Previous experience working on a golf course. Knowledgeable on landscape, TIF Eagle and Celebration Bermuda grass. Have a Florida Driver's License. Be able to Perform Chemical and Fertilizer applications. Obtain or have Restricted pesticide License within a year of employment. Have or obtain a LTD Commercial Fertilizer license. have a Bachelor's degree, Associate in Horticulture, ideally with previous Management experience. have or obtain a Best Management Practices certificate.
