Machine Builder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Assemble machined and purchased components to build diagnostic machines

• Perform wiring of junction boxes

• Use precision measuring tools and interpret measurements accurately

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely

• Assist in welding and fabrication as needed

• Safely operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other rigging equipment

• Use equipment such as drill press, small mill, and band saw

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 2 years of machine building experience

  • Able to Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging

  • Must have own basic hand tools

  • Ability to use and safely operate power tools and shop machinery

  • Forklift and overhead crane operation experience

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
