Civil Construction Foreman – Houston Area

A respected civil construction contractor based in the Houston area is seeking a skilled Civil Construction Foreman to oversee field crews on demolition, site clearing, excavation, concrete, and drainage installation projects. This full-time role offers steady work and the opportunity to lead critical infrastructure and site development jobs across Houston and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily field activities for demolition, earthwork, concrete, and drainage projects

• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification

• Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and project documents

• Direct crew members and equipment operators to meet productivity goals

• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols

• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve field issues

• Monitor materials, equipment, and labor needs to keep projects moving efficiently

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in civil construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, underground utilities, and concrete work

• Ability to lead crews, manage jobsite operations, and communicate effectively • Skilled at reading plans and identifying field adjustments as neede

Preferred:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
