Travel Mig Welder**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Travel Mig Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced production environment, expertly following work instructions and utilizing measuring tools to ensure precision. You will be responsible for setting weld parameters and performing fillet and groove welds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Execute production welding in a fast-paced environment.
+ Follow detailed work instructions accurately.
+ Utilize measuring tools for precise welds.
+ Set appropriate weld parameters for different projects.
+ Perform fillet and groove welds with expertise.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of MIG welding experience in a high-volume production facility.
+ Proficient in welding on carbon steel.
+ Experience with mig, spray arc, and short circuit techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in welding on vehicles such as trucks, trains, forklifts, golf carts, and heavy equipment is preferred.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Experience with GMAW on Carbon Steel and Spray Transfer GMAW.
+ Skilled in using tape measures, weld gauges, plasma cutters, acetylene torches, and carbon arc gouges.
