Electro Mechanical Technician

We're seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team of skilled professionals. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives on hands-on work, and has a strong interest in both mechanical systems and electrical components. - Ability to use hand tools: manual, pneumatic, and cordless
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Must work well with a team
- Welding and grinding skills a plus
- A high school diploma or GED

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Works with electrical schematics and drawings, 480V down to 24V and up to 60 amps, plus familiarity with the functions of electrical circuits and components.
- Completes work requiring the wiring of motors and terminating wiring harnesses from equipment to control panel per schematic.
- Assembles enclosures per drawing and installs on equipment. Including cutting and installing conduit and connectors.
- Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and piping problems
- Reads blueprints and schematics to assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and piping systems
- Works mostly unsupervised and understands when to move on to the next process step.
- Uses basic machine knowledge to measure and cut parts to size as described on a drawing. Lay out holes in a part, based on the drawing, and use a drill press to drill and tap the holes.
- Assemble piping systems per drawing. Includes adding valves, sensors, probes, solenoids, and traps that will all connect in series and to other equipment being installed
- Maintain manufacturing line/department cleanliness and ensure inventory storage locations are organized.
- Must have prompt and regular attendance.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness due to working with electricity, lifting heavy weight with over-head cranes, mechanically moving equipment, welding, soldering, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to learn other skillsets (i.e., brazing, polishing, sandblasting, etc.)
- Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
