Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety on job sites.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, and some light welding on heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes.
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance productivity on construction sites.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance for compliance and reporting.
Communicate with site managers and operators to understand machinery issues and provide effective solutions.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards while performing maintenance tasks.
Assist in the preparation of budgets for equipment maintenance and repairs, tracking costs and expenditures.
Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in heavy machinery to improve repair efficiency and effectiveness.
