RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Sandy Springs, GA that is seeking a hybrid Senior Digital Architect to join their team. This role demands end-to-end architectural depth - spanning modern web/mobile front ends, microservices, restaurant systems integration, cloud-native infrastructure, and real-world operational reliability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Architecture & Solution Design:

* Architect end-to-end digital commerce solutions

* Drive white-label architecture

* Apply domain-driven design principles to architect modular platforms

* Define architectural blueprints for key digital capabilities ensuring consistency across brands while supporting brand uniqueness

* Lead the design of edge-resilient front-end and API architectures

* Make architectural decisions

* Actively engage with product and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements

* Lead architecture reviews and technical working sessions

* Provide hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle

* Empower teams to move fast without compromising quality, scalability or maintainability

* Design systems for operational robustness

* Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams

* Lead performance and capacity planning exercises to ensure digital platforms meet demands

* Promote -shift-left- thinking around reliability and the overall code release process

* Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to co-create scalable, secure, and feature-rich digital experiences

* Align closely with technology architects and SME's to ensure interoperability with core systems

* Facilitate decision-making across technical design forums

* Collaborate with marketing and data science teams to design and enable platforms

* Guide architectural integration of MarTech platforms into digital channels

* Contribute to the definition of architecture patterns for dynamic content delivery, intelligent offers, and targeted promotions

REQUIREMENTS:

* 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years in hands-on architecture roles

* Demonstrated ability to lead technical decision-making, influence engineering standards, and mentor cross-functional delivery teams

* Exceptional analytical, communication, and collaboration skills - with the ability to bridge architecture vision with tactical execution

Expert-level proficiency across the digital architecture stack, including:

* Multi-brand and white-label architecture

* Client-side frameworks

* API and integration design

* Back-end services

* Data management

* Event-driven and streaming architectures

* Cloud infrastructure

* Infrastructure-as-code and automation

* DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

* Observability and performance tooling

* Operational reliability

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
