Alyeska Builders is looking to add another great Superintendent to our team!

This position is open to the following applicants:

  1. Experienced Carpenter / Field Foreman / Superintendent. If you have prior job experience managing construction projects, we would love to visit with you about this opportunity!

  2. Carpenters looking to advance into a management position. Must have understanding of the construction industry, processes, vendors and be confident in managing others.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS | Superintendent

  • Communicates with field and subcontractors' crews, inspectors/engineers, vendors and owners.
  • Minimum 3 years in construction industry.
  • Use of computers / company software is required. Alyeska Builders will provide training on company software, however, applicants must have basic computer skills such as: ability to utilize email, safari, typing skills (30WPM or greater).
  • Must be willing & able to pass a drug test.
  • Valid driver's license (driving record without major violations, suspensions within last 5 years).

JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES:

" A Superintendent primarily manages the day-to-day on-site activities and crew, ensuring work is done safely, efficiently and according to plan as well as company standards."

The primary focus of the Superintendent is to manager on-site field operations and daily crew management. This Superintendent position is primarily field-based.

As a Superintendent with Alyeska Builders you will manage field and subcontractors' crews, site safety, daily productivity and inspections.You will interact daily with field and subcontractors' crews, inspectors/engineers, vendors and owners.

Daily tasks are as follows:

  • Site coordination
  • safety enforcement
  • quality control
  • daily logs
  • problem solving on the fly, being a resource to field crews & providing guidance & training.

This position is primarily field based - 90% in the field / 10% in the office doing documentation on the computer.

All of the above tasks require use of our project management system. Strong computer skills will be needed to effectively fill this position.

SCHEDULE DETAILS

Our crew works year round - ability to work overtime is required.

Monday - Friday is typical. (8AM-5PM) We do take long holiday weekends, and our team members rotate taking time off to enjoy our Alaskan summers!

Pay: $86,450.00 - $120,000.00 per year
