Construction Plumbing Estimator Residential Projects

GrowNScale is seeking an experienced Construction Plumbing Estimator to join our team and support residential construction projects throughout Palm Beach County. This is a full-time, in-house role focused on estimating plumbing scopes for new construction and remodels.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in residential plumbing systems, understands construction workflows, and is confident in reading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and building accurate proposals. You'll work closely with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure clear communication and proper handoff of estimates to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed plumbing estimates for residential ground-up construction and remodels

• Review construction drawings, specs, and site conditions

• Perform accurate takeoffs for underground, top-out, and trim phases

• Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors

• Develop and submit bid proposals on schedule

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options

• Support the transition from estimate to job start with project management

• Track bid outcomes and maintain estimating records

• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in plumbing for residential construction

• Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, construction timelines, and permitting processes

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PDF markup tools, and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble, or equivalent)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing schematics, and specifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required

Compensation & Benefits:

• $80,000$110,000/year, depending on experience

• Full-time in-house position
