Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking a motivated Commercial HVAC Estimator!

A qualified Commercial HVAC Estimator's Responsibilities Include:

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
• Become proficient with all product offerings, estimating, and project management software
• Create labor estimates quotes and respond to inbound queries
• Analyze required documents, blueprints, and project plans to thoroughly understand the project.
• Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
• Manage bids from vendors
• Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis
• Present prepared forecasts to management and other stakeholders
• Compile and record actual costs
• Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of field experience
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work assignments
• Ability to develop budgets and timelines
• Strong knowledge and understanding of construction

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000-$90,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Experience: 7 years of field experience
