Job Description
The Estimator/Project Manager will prepare bids and manage field operations to project completion. The Estimator/Project Manager will report to the owner.
PROJECT TYPES:
*Construction, grading and excavation.
*Site development for home tracts, roads and underground utilities.
KEY REPSONSIBILITIES:
*Be able to identify bid opportunities, evaluate and complete bids, material take-offs.
*Coordinate and provide support to field and sales staff and manage the project from bid to completion.
*Continually track project to ensure it is on track and billing is accurate.
*Consult with clients, vendors and other individuals on bidding documents.
*Develop the most effective means and methods of construction.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bluebeam experience is a plus.
*Experience bidding on public and private projects for doing earthwork and utilities.
*Strong work ethic, team player with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
*Excellent judgement, problem-solving and mathematical skills required
