What You'll Do: Operate hydraulic and mechanical shear machines to cut rebar to exact specs. Read and interpret blueprints, cut sheets, and production orders. Measure and inspect materials using calipers, gauges, and tape measures. Troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth, efficient operation. Handle heavy steel materials safely and maintain a clean workspace. Work closely with your team to meet daily production goals. What You Bring: Experience operating shear machines and setting up industrial equipment. Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills. Familiarity with press brake, CNC, punch press, and sheet metal fabrication. Background in heavy industrial manufacturing. Ability to safely handle long steel rebar and bulky items. Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset. Work Environment: Expect a high-energy production floor with powerful machinery, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
