Cuber Operator Job Description Under the direction of the plant manager, shift supervisor, and/or other designated lead personnel, the Cuber Operator efficiently operates associated equipment to produce quality concrete products from raw materials. This role involves following established policies and procedures in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Operate associated equipment efficiently to produce concrete products from raw materials to the yard stage, according to prescribed quality standards and production schedule. Visually inspect the quality of products according to prescribed quality control standards such as weight, height, color, shape, and corners. Adjust machinery and related processes as required to meet quality standards. Monitor the operation of the block plant and all associated equipment to detect, report, and repair malfunctions. Maintain, adjust, and perform minor repairs on associated equipment. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition. Change molds as required with the assistance of other production personnel. Perform other functions and duties as required or directed, such as keeping written records of production, relieving other personnel for breaks, communicating changes in product size, tone, texture, and cubing patterns to the cuber and production list, ensuring the mixer is cleaned as required, maintaining admix level, assisting with major equipment maintenance and repairs, assisting the shift supervisor with coordinating all production operations, and assisting with training of employees. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment Mechanical aptitude with the use of basic hand tools Machine operation and operating equipment related to concrete production Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to work hard and demonstrate job tenure Reliability and interest in growth opportunities Experience as a batch operator or in construction Why Work Here?
