Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Lead the launch of new ventilation products which involves planning, executing, and monitoring the launch, as well as developing go-to-market strategies that include product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives, collaborating with senior management to ensure that marketing and sales strategies are aligned with the overall business strategy. Work with architects and specifiers ensuring that our products are included in project specifications. Expand our selective dealer network across the Western U.S. region will be essential. You will identify and recruit new dealers, develop and maintain strong relationships, and provide technical and commercial training to ensure dealers are well-equipped to sell and support our products. Providing technical support to dealers and customers on the West Coast, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues will be part of your duties to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage key accounts by providing ongoing technical assistance and support, developing and executing growth plans to maximize sales and retention. Prepare and manage budgets for marketing and sales activities, and conducting sales forecasting to inform financial planning and resource allocation.

Educ./experience:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in International Business or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Development Manager or in a related position. Experience must include technical product knowledge of trickle vents, zip shades, and motorized louvered roof systems; business development; data analysis; project management including working with architects and builders on specifications; supporting in regional marketing campaigns with dealers.
