Licensed Professional Land Surveyor

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Evans-Graves, a locally owned civil engineering and surveying firm, is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor with at least 10 years of licensure to lead surveying projects from planning through completion. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, field crews, and deliverables for a variety of civil-related projects.

Responsibilities • Lead survey planning, computations, data management, and field crew supervision • Oversee preparation and QA of plats, ALTA surveys, subdivision maps, ROW maps, LOMAs, and grade certificates • Coordinate with engineers, designers, clients, and consultants on multiple projects • Participate in field surveys as needed and provide training for crews • Support business development, including proposals and client presentations

Requirements • Louisiana Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license held for at least 10 years • 5+ years of professional surveying experience on civil projects • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley InRoads Survey • Experience with Trimble Business Center or similar data management software • Strong Microsoft Office skills
