If the workshop load is low employees would be sent offshore whenever possible. Employee needs to understand work and safety instructions in English Important information upon interview : On structural test, back welding is not allowed, penetration must be cleaned and performed from one side only. We do acknowledge that SMAW (stick) is uncommon for the root but this is how our WPS has been written and approved. 90% of candidates fail at this point, please make sure you understand. Welders must read WPS prior to welding to know heat, speed, electrical input. Welder will be provided scrap metal to practice and check heat before starting on coupon.
