Job Duties
-Read drawings and weld metals according to requirements. Accurately interpret and apply orientation, layout, fit, tolerance, surface preparation and weld callouts.
-Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
-Examine created welds to check for defects/flaws
- Ability to learn and perform different methods of welding to obtain certifications
- Perform safety and quality checks
-Work and adhere to all safety policies
-Communicate with peers, leads, Managers and inspectors using technical and non-technical descriptions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic math, tape measurement and computer skills
- Basic experience with hand tools
- Understand and comprehend measurement
-High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- A team player that can collaborate effectively with team.

Preferred Qualifications
-1 year of experience
-Previous experience in manufacturing
-Previous aerospace experience
-AS9100 and/or ISO9001 experience
-NADCAP approved welding facility experience
-Fabrication skills, experience and use of press break and forming tools.

Requirements:
Must be able to work 40 hours weekly.
This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead. The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands.

Schedule:
10 hour shift 5:00a.m.-3:30p.m., Monday - Thursday
Overtime available upon approval
