looking for an Electrical Estimators

EMPWR Electric is expanding and looking for an Electrical Construction Estimator to support our growing pipeline of commercial and residential projects ranging from $200,000 to $2 million.

This is a flexible opportunity we're open to bid-to-bid, part-time, or full-time work arrangements depending on the right candidate. Youll work directly with ownership and play a key role as we scale up.

What Youll Do:

Estimate commercial and residential electrical construction projects

Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze blueprints/specs

Prepare bid packages and proposals

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing

Work with the owner to develop and improve internal estimating systems

Who Were Looking For:

Someone with experience estimating projects between $200K$2M

Comfortable using tools like Accubid, PlanSwift, ConEst, Bluebeam, or McCormick

Able to interpret electrical plans and specs

Detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and deadline-driven

Open to bid-by-bid work, part-time hours, or full-time employment

Someone eager to grow with a fast-moving company

Position Details:

Location: Remote or hybrid (Austin-based a plus, not required)

Schedule: Flexible bid-to-bid, part-time (~1020 hrs/week), or full-time

Pay: Competitive and negotiable based on experience

Contract Options: W2 or 1099 depending on candidate preference
