General Laborers

Sokal Project Management & Dumore Construction & Remodeling, LLC a locally owned and operated construction company, looking for motivated Laborers to join our team! We offer competitive wages & benefits.

l Lift 50 lbs or more
l Available MondayFriday (possible weekends)

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and physically capable General Laborers to support various construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a safe and clean work environment, handle tools and materials, and perform a wide range of physical tasks to help keep the job site running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general site cleanup including sweeping, debris removal, and organizing materials
Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment
Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades as directed
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly
Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures
Help with demolition and excavation as needed
Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies
Handle deliveries and properly store construction supplies
Transport materials to designated locations using wheelbarrows, dollies, or manual lifting
Prepare construction sites by digging, leveling, and backfilling trenches

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Willingness to learn and take direction
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment
Outdoor work at active construction sites
Exposure to dust, noise, and weather elements
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
