Electrical Laborer - Solar Project Job Description We are seeking 10 skilled electrical laborers to join our team for an exciting self-perform solar project. The role involves performing underground installation work for the electrical component of the project. Individuals will be responsible for installing conduit underground and above ground wiring, as well as participating in labor tasks such as shoveling and pulling wire. Responsibilities Install conduit underground for solar project electrical systems. Install above ground wiring as part of the electrical infrastructure. Perform labor tasks including shoveling and pulling wire. Utilize blueprints and schematics to guide electrical installations. Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise. Engage in conduit bending and pipe bending tasks. Essential Skills 2+ years of solar electrical experience within the last 3 years. Proficiency in electrical, conduit, and wiring tasks. Experience in troubleshooting and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Ability to perform conduit bending and pipe bending. OSHA 10 certification. Classification as an apprentice or top helper in the non-solar industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to engage in labor and non-electrical related tasks. Each day starts with a safety talk at 7 AM, followed by work, with three breaks throughout the day. Proper work clothing for outdoor conditions is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Shacklefords, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
