Welder

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will assist fleet mechanics with truck and equipment repairs by performing necessary welding repairs in order to keep fleet in top condition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains service logs and records of maintenance on vehicles and motorized equipment
• Keeps tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized and in good working condition
• Perform welding repairs on trailer and MC-307, DOT-407, and DOT-412 tanks
• Perform fabrication duties
• Additional duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Mig and Stick welding experience required
• Experience in fabrication
• Previous fleet shop experience preferred
• Post-secondary vocational education strongly preferred
• Driver's license required, Class A CDL preferred
