HVAC Technician**

**Job Description**

Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and exhaust equipment in life science buildings across the entire campus. This role involves leading an HVAC apprentice on a day-to-day basis.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and exhaust equipment.

+ Lead and mentor an HVAC apprentice daily.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on cooling towers, VAVs, RTUs, and rooftop units.

+ Provide high-level customer service and interact with end-client personnel.

+ Troubleshoot electrical and general maintenance issues.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3-5 years of HVAC experience with an MA Refrigeration license (preferred but not required).

+ 8-10 years of HVAC experience without a license.

+ Experience in life science or pharmaceutical environments.

+ Familiarity with RTUs, VAVs, and cooling towers.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience troubleshooting chillers.

+ General maintenance skills.

+ Electrical service experience.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $112000.00 - $116000.00/yr.
