Fiber Splicer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. This position involves terminating Cat 6 and Fiber cables, pulling cables in new and existing structures, and maintaining clean job sites. The candidate will be paired with a senior technician to assist with multiple projects, requiring comfort with working on ladders and scissor lifts. Responsibilities Terminate Cat 6 and Fiber cable efficiently. Work with Singlemode 1310nm LX/LR - 10km. Pull Cat 6 cables in various structures, both new and existing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites. Collaborate with senior technicians to support multiple projects. Work comfortably on ladders and scissor lifts. Essential Skills Cable termination and installation experience. Proficiency in cable pulling and splicing. Experience with Cat 6 cables, and Cat5. Fiber optic splicing and pulling wire expertise. Minimum of one year experience in electrical, cabling, wiring, telecommunication, optic, fiber optic installation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Fiber Splicing Experience is essential. Single strand and multi-strand experience is advantageous. Experience in extending fiber is preferred. Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the field.
