Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee all field team operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery and continuously seeking to improve processes. Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts required for all field services tasks. Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for complex maintenance and repair issues, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general property maintenance and repair. Ensure all repairs, maintenance, and field service tasks are completed to the highest standards and within the agreed timeframe. Manage work schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to meet field service commitments. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address personnel issues in coordination with HR. Approve expenses for the field team, reviewing them for accuracy and ensuring proper material purchasing. Conduct periodic audits of invoices and cross-reference materials to ensure the costs align correctly. Source cost-effective solutions for materials and services, balancing quality with budget considerations. Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure all field activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Conduct regular safety and quality inspections to ensure quality and safety standards compliance. Implement corrective actions and process improvements to uphold high service quality and safe working conditions. Lead, Coach, and Develop: Inspire and motivate a team of technicians, identifying performance trends, gaps, and opportunities for coaching and development. Create and implement individualized coaching, training, and professional growth plans, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance. Recognize and celebrate team and individual successes, ensuring job satisfaction and a positive work environment. Remove barriers for our technicians, addressing obstacles impacting service quality and efficiency. Cross-Department Collaboration & Customer Relations: Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to streamline technician workloads, ensuring customer commitments are met efficiently. Address and resolve customer complaints and service issues, coordinating with other teams to deliver quick and satisfactory resolutions. ing & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of field activities, personnel records, and all other relevant information to manage our technicians effectively. Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance, operational efficiency, and personnel to leadership. Qualifications: Proven experience (5+ years) in residential maintenance or a related field, preferred 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong technical knowledge of building systems and processes in a field service environment. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Effective at leading and positively communicating change to internal team clients. Preferred Skills: Certifications in relevant maintenance fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical). Knowledge of field service operations, preferably in a home services environment.
