Concrete Carpenter**

**Location:** Colorado Springs, CO

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Concrete Carpenter** to join our construction team for a high-profile **transfer station project** in Colorado Springs. This position involves the construction of **three 22-foot-tall vertical concrete walls** with substantial footers, requiring a high level of craftsmanship, precision, and safety awareness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vertical formwork and a strong understanding of concrete construction techniques.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Interpret blueprints and project specifications to build and set forms for large-scale concrete structures.

+ Construct vertical concrete walls up to 22 feet in height, including the installation of large footers.

+ Install and tie rebar to reinforce concrete structures.

+ Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble formwork.

+ Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

+ Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain project timelines and efficiency.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all site safety protocols.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Minimum **1 year of experience** in concrete formwork, with a focus on **vertical form setting** .

+ Familiarity with **Symons forming systems** or similar.

+ Strong understanding of general construction practices and OSHA safety standards.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

+ Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

+ Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
