Job DescriptionMicron Technology, Inc. has an opening for Project Manager - TD Strategy in Boise, ID.
Job Duties: Manage projects and develop timelines and business process to meet scenario requests plan activities. Identify project requirements and plan tasks to meet timelines. Ensure successful implementation of projects into business processes. Plan capital timing for new product introduction and ramp. Design and coordinate projects with several different departments and/or factories regarding scenario and planning processes. Solve complex problems and develops innovative solutions utilizing a structured approach. Develop and drive improvements to key Fab Plan performance metrics. Provide solutions that improve performance of our current factory key metrics. Propose and implement modeling concepts, methods, and tools. Maintain required training as well as job critical knowledge and skills. Perform audits, Fab capacity, Cycle Time (CT), and capital scenarios. Identify and highlight scenario changes and requirements to guide TD executives in the strategic decision-making process. Drive opportunities to minimize capital expenditure for a given scenario, while identifying the timing of the required capital through scenario analysis. Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies. Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Report all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.). Perform audits and submits good catches on safety issues. Partner with key stakeholders to develop applications to continuously improve production metrics. Coordinate scenarios, works with Engineering, Operations and PI to deliver required data and analysis. Partner with TD, process engineering and change management to ensure these groups are linked into the plan and scenario timelines. Create and deliver effective presentations. Coordinate interdepartmental meetings for simple to complex issues and projects. Use data visualization technique to clearly communicate complex ideas and plans to stakeholders so data can translate into decisions. Clearly articulate complex ideas and issues to a broad audience. Establish trusting relationships across local and global partner groups and drives improvement solutions that meet the needs of the customers. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders. May telecommute part-time.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a project management-related occupation.
