Senior Architect

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the firms founder and senior team whose experience with demanding, high-touch projects spans across the U.S. (from coastal estates to mountain chalets, Texas ranches, and finely tuned urban infill homes). Youll be at the table from day one, helping lead design, mentor talent, and shape the evolution of our practice.

What Youll Do:

• Drive projects from concept through construction with autonomy and clarity
• Engage directly with clients, consultants, and builders
• Lead and mentor junior team members; share what you know generously
• Collaborate closely with the founder on design vision and execution
• Help refine internal standards, systems, and delivery methods
• Be involved in everything from early hand sketches to on-site detailing

What You'll Bring:

• 10+ years of professional experience in residential architectural practice
• Experience working on estate homes, family compounds, or boutique hotels
• Classical design background
• Strong command of Autocad (additional background in Rhino or SketchUp preferred)
• Deep understanding of building systems, detailing, and construction documentation
• Experience delivering high-end residential or bespoke commercial projects
• A grounded, team-oriented approach to leadership and mentorship
• The ability to take ownership, work independently, and communicate clearly
