Job Description

Title: Senior Engineer Desktop Management Infrastructure Services (SUSE Linux)
Location: Collegeville, PA (Onsite)
Experience: 8 10 Years

We re currently hiring for an exciting Senior Engineer Desktop Management role with in Collegeville, PA . This is a unique opportunity for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Linux systems , End-User Computing , and Scientific Lab IT support

Key Responsibilities:

Support and maintain over 5000 endpoints globally across lab and corporate environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop, connectivity, and scientific software issues
Manage system imaging, onboarding/decommissioning, and domain configuration
Implement validated data backup solutions on laboratory equipment (GxP and non-GxP)
Provide technical support to scientists including incident response and access management
Participate in Agile project workstreams and collaborate across teams
Ensure systems and processes meet security, compliance, and performance standards

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Linux (SUSE preferred) and Windows OS
Background in End-User Computing , Infrastructure , and Desktop Support
Hands-on experience with Active Directory , ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
Knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, IP, OSI model, firewalls)
Familiarity with GxP/validated systems , lab IT , and scientific instrumentation support
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
